Membership Update
The kick-off meeting on January 10th was a huge success! Our membership this year numbers 142...a 10% increase over last year. Focus groups have formed and are in the process of reviewing and evaluating the non-profits who have applied for Impact 100's second $100,000 grant.
2nd Annual Grant Award Celebration!
Impact 100 is pleased to announce that our Grant Award Celebration will be held on June 12, 2012 at Arlington Park Racetrack. Save the date!
Committee Forming to Find Sponsors
Many businesses are willing to contribute to a good cause - they just need to be asked! A committee is being formed which will contact businesses who may wish to sponsor Impact 100 Chicago. Interested?

Philanthropic Education Committee
The Board of Impact 100 Chicago will be offering one or two educational events annually for our members and friends. These events will provide speakers on topics related to philanthropy and giving. Our first event is targeted for Fall 2012. If you would like to be a part of this newly formed and dynamic committee, please contact: Sheila Kesler

Impact 100 Chicago’s Mission
is to award membership funded transformational grants to local nonprofit organizations while empowering women to improve lives through philanthropy. white text to create buffer for next line
How it Works
- A minimum of 100 women join as members each making a tax-deductible donation of $1000.
- Together we pool our funds to award $100,000 grants to nonprofit organizations in the Chicagoland area. Learn more
We Value
- Ensuring that 100% of membership dollars donated goes directly to fund the awarded grant.
- Awarding high impact grants.
- Funding in five focus areas: Family, Education, Health & Wellness, Environment, and Arts & Culture.
- Providing ways for our members to gain first hand knowledge of the nonprofits in our community.
Nonprofit Organizations
- Letters of Inquiry are due by 12/15/2011 from eligible nonprofit organizations.
- Grant review committees select one finalist from each of the five Focus Areas.
- Finalist organizations present their grant request to Impact 100 Chicago members at the Annual Grant Award Celebration in June.
- Members vote to decide the grant recipient(s). Learn more
